  • “I am a 71-year-old that for the first time in my life said “I feel my age.” I decided it was time to get back in the gym. However, based on experience, I knew I would either lose motivation overtime or overdo it or get injured. I decided to look for a personal trainer.   • My Wife and I have been working out with Alan for 4+ years and we loved all of it. For the longest time, we were having trouble staying consistent and motivated to work out.   • I have been working with Alan almost a year now. I live somewhat of a sedentary lifestyle when I am not working and was feeling tired just going up stairs. In my younger years I was working out 3x a week and full of energy, but as you get older your daily tasks drain you just run out of juice and start gaining weight etc. I never had a personal trainer ever but I felt I needed someone to help reduce my A1C and give me professional guidance as how to get more energy and strength.   • Alan Vitelli has been my athletic trainer for just over a year. Until I started with Alan I was inconsistent in my workouts, which resulted in maintenance of my current condition, but no real progress.   • I began working with Alan in June of 2018! Initially, my goals were centered around weight loss for my wedding. However, Alan’s expertise went further than I could have imagined. After multiple foot injuries, I thought I’d struggle to exercise the way I used to when I was a competitive runner in HS and college. With Alan’s help, I not only lost weight for the wedding, but he worked with me to rehab my foot beyond my expectations! I no longer had difficulty walking (at 28 years old!) up stairs. A year after my wedding, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. Alan worked with me and modified exercise to fit my needs as I maneuvered the lifestyle changes.   • Having worked out my entire adult life I tore my meniscus and needed to rest my knee. I figured I’d get back to working out as soon as I was better. After 10 years I was still doing nothing, but was struggling with walking, getting up from a chair and even turning over in bed! I was afraid to pick something off the floor. I had to do something.   • HIGHLY recommended. If every trainer was Alan, this world would be a different place. First off, I hate the gym. Like, hat. It’s intimidating and I’ll be honest, I’m no expert. I was in spectacular shape in my 20’s, but now a dad in my 40’s it took a lot to get myself going. After three sessions with Alan everything started to make sense. I actually started to feel a difference in my body and I realized it’s because Alan is giving the most insight to make sure I’m doing the right thing.   • Before working with Alan I could never do workouts without eventually pulling a muscle or having some other issue. Alan knows anatomy and he body so well that I always feel better after our sessions. If I do come in to a session with an injury, Alan always knows how to work around the issue and many times improve the injury in our session. My balance, core, strength and overall health has improved from working with Alan over the last 6 months. His studio is spotless and has top equipment to work with.
